Promised Death is a survival horror game inspired by the early classics of the genre — Silent Hill and Resident Evil — built to recapture that same sense of dread, tension, and isolation.
Something is wrong in your hometown. You don't know what. You don't know why. But you're already inside.
As Matt, a miner returning home after a long shift, what starts as an ordinary stop at the gas station quickly turns into a desperate fight to understand — and survive — what has become of the people you once knew.
This is just the beginning. Promised Death is designed as a prologue — a first glimpse into a world with much more to uncover. If it finds an audience and resonates with players, we plan to expand the story into a full game set deep within the town itself, with everything we've learned and everything we couldn't fit here.
What happens in the town stays in the town. For now.

We're two friends brought together by a shared passion for game development. Our dream is simple: to create games that genuinely entertain people — and one day, to make that dream our livelihood.
This is our first official release, and we're incredibly proud to finally put it out into the world.

Don’t mention it, I see potential. Some things that you can fix after playtesting:
Character death animation won’t trigger while aiming weapon at random.
Enemies would be better off respawning to prevent them from stunlocking the player on entry.
You can die/evade death in an unintended way which affects the SFX in the background.
Okay, we will keep that in mind.
